1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, such as your email address. We also collect audio recordings and written text when you submit practice tests on our platform for AI grading.
2. How We Use Your Information
The primary use of your audio and text submissions is to provide you with an AI-generated band score and feedback. We may also use anonymized aggregated data to improve our grading models and algorithms.
3. AI Processing
Your audio and written submissions are processed using third-party AI models (such as Google Gemini). These third parties act as our data processors and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. Your data is not used by them to train their public models.
4. AI Assistants You Connect (MCP)
If you connect an AI assistant (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor) to your account, that assistant can read the data its tools return: your progress and scores, your study plan, practice questions, and your answers and feedback. That data is sent to the assistant's provider under your own account with them and is handled under that provider's terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. You can disconnect an assistant or revoke its access at any time in your account settings. For each tool call we record the tool name, whether it succeeded, the time, your country and the connecting app's user agent. We never log access tokens, and we store only a one-way hash of each token.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Passwords are hashed and sessions are securely managed.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to or deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated practice data at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
