The Complete the Words Task
This is a new Reading task introduced in the 2026 redesign. You will read a short paragraph where several words are missing. Instead of a multiple-choice selection, you must type in the correct word, sometimes with the first letter provided as a hint.
What it Tests
- Collocations: Knowing which words naturally go together in English.
- Context Clues: Using the surrounding sentences to deduce meaning.
- Spelling: Unlike multiple-choice questions, you must spell the word correctly.
How to Practice
